Jo Baer
Cabinet
28 April – 16 June 2018

Galerie Barbara Thumm is very excited to be premiering two new works by Jo Baer during this years Gallery Weekend Berlin.

Jo Baer has worked on these images in the past two years with the idea in mind to create two large scale paintings. The artist has now decided to leave them in their digital stage and to execute them as prints on canvas.

The gallery will show these works, conceived as Giclée prints on canvas, together with two sketches in a small cabinet presentation. Their dystopian vision will be shown alongside one of the paintings of the series “In The Land of The Giants” which depict neolithic landscapes and an abstract mapping of cultural history as well as a journey through the stages of Baer’s oeuvre.
