Barbara Thumm Gallery is pleased to present the first solo show in Berlin by Georgian artist Anna K.E.

The exhibition two whores in the same dress evolves around two central works which consist of two free standing correlating structures, made of wood, aluminum and plexi-glass in various colours.

The shape of the objects and especially their freely standing position in the space, certainly recalls an architectural window facade of housings and even more the traditional Asian room dividers. Room dividers and also windows are objects which witness the human desire for intimacy. Both suggest a certain human activity, which is directly opposed to what is open or unlimited.
