Love is omnipresent: Not only in novels, filders or songs is it as a strong feeling, emotional power or unattainable ideal in the center, but it is always part of social discourses. How do we love? Who do we love? And why? And what happened when love stops?
The exhibition follows the first part – „Faith“ – the trilogy „Faith, Love, Hope“ and approaches the concept of love. as a quality feature of interpersonal relationships.
The exhibition presents selected works of art of the modern and contemporary that reflect on the possibilities, limitations and contradictions of being connected. Stephan Balkenhol, Marc Chagall or Maria Lassnig, their struggle for harmony, their yearning for protection, but also the experience of tightness.
