In the juxtaposition of award-winning works and current works, not only artistic developments become visible. The more than 40 works exhibited, created since the turn of the millennium, reflect the conflicts, fears and perspectives of a young generation of artists in times of rapidly changing political and social coordinates, such as digitalization, threats to nature or the standardization of the individual. In retrospect, the high sensitivity of young artists to social developments is revealed, but also the breadth of the expressive possibilities of contemporary art.
