With a quote from Felix Nussbaum „I resist and do not grow weary,“ we face the pressing questions of the time in the anniversary year of the Peace of Westphalia.
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Felix Nussbaum House, built in 1998 by architect Daniel Libeskind, this large special exhibition with international loans shows the painter Felix Nussbaum in the context of the present. Nussbaum’s work becomes a point of departure for positioning oneself vis-à-vis the challenges of our time with regard to a peaceful, tolerant, and compassionate society.
