War, pandemic, climate collapse – the world is out of control. The Russian war of aggression in Ukraine showed that violence and war have not disappeared from Europe. At the same time, the climate crisis is looming. Nature seems out of balance. Human domination over nature and its ruthlessness exacerbate the risk of self-destruction.
The 28th Rohkunstbau seeks artistic answers and combines positions from different genres, posing questions about the ethical prerequisites for an end to violence – violence against nature and against the other.
