\Estate Anna Oppermann
Anna Oppermann, (1940–1993) is a key figure of the German Conceptual Art and Post-Conceptual Art.
In the sixties, she developed her radical open and dialogical language. Her intricate assemblages of drawings, photographs and objects grew into large scale overboarding spacial installations for which the artist coined the phrase “Ensemble”. The gallery represents the Anna Oppermann estate since 2010.
Oppermann’s work can be found in public and private collections around the world, including the Bundeskunstsammlung, Falckenberg Collection, Hamburg, Generali Foundation, Wien, Hamburger Kunsthalle, Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, K21 Sammlung, Düsseldorf, LaM, Lille Métropole Musée d’art moderne, d’art contemporain et d’art brut, mumok – Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien, Museum Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach, Sprengel Museum Hannover.
